The first thing to test when an application displays abnormal behaviour or crashes regularly is, in order :
1. Clear the cache (*)
2. If that doesn't work, try again by deleting the data (*)
3. Uninstall and reinstall the application
(*) To do this, go to Settings/Applications/search for the application in question, click on Storage & Cache. Even simpler solution: hold your finger down on the app icon, click on Information / Storage & Cache.
If the abnormal behaviour seems to be linked to switching to standby mode (e.g. the track is no longer being recorded in Navionics when the tablet is in standby mode), it's probably the battery optimisation options that are preventing it from working properly. In this case, follow the same process as above, but click on Battery and disable battery optimisation.
