My tablet is overheating. What should I do?
Your tablet has been tested above 60°c. It is designed to withstand these temperatures under normal use. However, in exceptional circumstances, it may overheat.
The first thing to remember is not to put it in the fridge. This will lead to condensation, which could cause damage. Switch it off, put it in the shade and let it cool down.
The most common causes of overheating are as follows:
- Your tablet was being charged in direct sunlight. We strongly advise against charging your tablet in direct sunlight.
- Your tablet is placed on a flat, smooth surface in direct sunlight, which itself stores heat. Always ensure that air can circulate behind your tablet.
