Connecting an Android device to a Mac is not native. You will need to install Android File Transfer (download here).You can also consult Droidkit , but not all the features are available in the free version. And to use it, you'll need to unlock the developer options (go to 'About the tablet' in the settings and click seven times on the build number. Then, under 'System', you'll see the developer options. In these, you'll need to enable 'USB debugging' to use Droidkit).

Remember: after installing one of these programs, you will need to restart your MAC to be able to access the tablet.
