How do I program the two configurable buttons on my tablet?

Using an application such as BUTTON MAPPER. This will allow you to add accessible features (system features, launching an application, shortcut, etc.) without having to go through the touch screen, which can be very useful in difficult conditions.

It is common, for example, to set the increase an
d decrease in brightness. You can even set different functions on the same button depending on whether you perform a short press, a double-click or a long press.

As can be a bit tricky to program the buttons on the Button Mapper App for the first time, here is a bit of guidance to hopefully make it easy for you (*As the App might change or update these steps might also change, therefore also consult the official instructions of the App itself) :

  1. On the start menu, press Add Buttons - an empty screen should appear with a (+) sign in the bottom right corner.
  2. Press the (+) sign, a message will appear prompting you to press the Button, press one of the configurable buttons and choose ADD- repeat for the 2nd button. The will most likely be named  (ALT_LEFT & CAMERA).
  3. On the same page you can now click on the created Buttons - a message might appears stating that this is part of the Pro feature - press close and you will still enter the configuration mode.
  4. Slight the Customize menu to On (swipe right), then you will have 3 options for each individual button (Single tap, Double tap, Long press).
  5. Clicking on each option will open a menu - choose the desired action between: Applications, Shortcuts, System, Media, Advanced.

*As an example to adjust Brightness, choose System- Brightness (+) or (-). Now by pressing set Button you can easily adjust the
screen Brightness. Similar you can configure to launch an App etc. by simply pressing one of the Buttons.
