Forgotten PIN code on Device
If you have lost or cannot remember your device's PIN code, you have the following options:
1. Attempt to Remove the PIN Code by 'Hacking'
This option is viable if you have very important data on your device. The best approach is to try a local phone repair shop and ask if they can unlock your device. Alternatively, you may find solutions and tutorials on Google—though these methods may involve certain risks.
If you can afford to lose the data or have recently backed it up, the easiest solution is to factory reset your tablet (note: this will erase all data and installed apps).
Factory Reset via 'Google Find My Device':
If your locked device is connected to a network, this method can easily reset the device. Follow these steps:
- Open a browser on another device or computer and search for Google Find My Device.
- Log in using the Google account linked to your locked Android device.
- Select your locked device from the list.
- Choose Erase Device. This will remove the PIN and all content on the device by restoring it to factory settings.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process. After the reset, you can set a new PIN* or password.
Alternative factory Reset Instructions:

- Use VOL + to navigate to "Recovery" and confirm with VOL -.
- When the "No Command" screen appears, press VOL + and Power simultaneously for about 5 seconds.
- In the next menu, use VOL + and VOL - to navigate to "Wipe data / factory reset" and confirm by pressing Power.

For Android 13 (SP10S/SP10X):
- Power on the tablet by holding the Power and VOL - buttons until the first screen appears, then release both buttons and wait till the recovery screen appears * Sometimes its necessary to press the Power button slightly ahead of the VOL- button (less then 1 second) to initiate the process.
- Navigate to "Factory data reset" and confirm using the Power button, reboot the device and setup*.
* Some models have FRP ((Factory Reset Protection)), same will result in the old PIN being asked again, this step can normally be bypassed by using Google Account Verification (FRP Lock), your device will ask for the previously used Google account, enter the credentials. If you don’t remember, try account recovery at Google Account Recovery. Alternatively try setting up the device by not connecting to WiFi or mobile network - same can sometimes overwrite FRP.
